That or the developers have no idea what to do with natural weapons. This leads to the question: Can a natural weapon be both a weapon and an unarmed strike? It seems the developers are in a situation, where A and B both apply to natural weapons. These can be spell attacks or weapon attacks, where the "weapon" might be a manufactured item or a natural weapon, such as a claw or tail spike.Īnd then we get the Monsters of the Multiverse, which apparently claims, that they are modified unarmed strikes. Melee and Ranged Attacks: The most common actions that a monster will take in combat are melee and ranged attacks. Then we have the Basic Rules, which still mention natural weapons among weapons. Which isn't terribly important in the grand scheme of things, but here the designers claim, that natural weapons count as weapons and are thus eligible for smite. They are something you do with an unarmed part of your body. In contrast, unarmed strikes are not weapons. Prior to being appointed, Hobbs had never had elections administration experience. Write-in campaigns rarely end in wins, but as of Thursday, Klippert has raised more than $7,000.Īs of Thursday, Hobbs had raised almost $695,000 and Anderson had raised almost $310,000.īoth candidates have prioritized election misinformation and cybersecurity, but each has criticized the other for their experience. Klippert has received the endorsement of the state Republican Party. Brad Klippert, R-Kennewick, though his name won’t officially appear on the ballot. Republican voters may also opt for the write-in candidate, state Rep. He said the question will be whether Republican voters go for the independent or sit it out. “I don’t know that it’s very predictable.” “All of those things certainly explain why people would be undecided,” he said. The poll shows Hobbs 11 points above Anderson, 40% to 29%.Įlway said this race is unusual for a number of reasons, particularly because it’s taking place in a nonpresidential year and it’s the first time since 1964 that a Republican incumbent is not in the race. Stuart Elway said he anticipates that number has gone down in the last month.Ī SurveyUSA poll, sponsored by the Seattle Times and a number of other partners, released Friday, still shows a large number of voters – about 30% – are undecided. Polling in the past month has shown the race is nearly tied, with a significant portion of the electorate undecided.Ī Crosscut/Elway poll from September had Hobbs leading Anderson 31% to 29%, though 40% of voters were still undecided. Three Republican candidates split much of the remaining vote, finishing with between 10% and 12% each.Īs the general election nears, the secretary of state’s race could end up as one of the closest this season. In the August primary, Hobbs and Anderson finished in the top two spots, with Hobbs getting almost 40% of the vote and Anderson getting 12.8% of the vote. This election will almost certainly be the first time Washington residents elect a non-Republican as secretary of state since 1964, though at least one write-in Republican candidate is trying to garner enough support to win. It also will be rebroadcast Tuesday on KSPS. Tickets to attend in person are sold out, but those wishing to watch the debate live can do so at. Jay Inslee last fall after former Secretary Kim Wyman left for a job in the Biden administration. The race pits incumbent Democrat Steve Hobbs against a nonpartisan candidate, Pierce County Auditor Julie Anderson. As Election Day nears, Washington’s secretary of state race is as close as ever. This means that the only time you will ever get hit by it is when you aren't paying attention and it catches you off guard. It is slow, gives you ample time to prepare for it, and there is a very clear indicator on when it is coming, and when it does it can only reach below or above him, and since Moon Lord moves trying to keep you at his center, right below his forehead, he literally positions himself for you to dodge the Deathray more easily. Let's see: Moon Lord's Phantasmal Deathray is a fair attack. That is, the mini-Deathrays from the True Eyes. Don't save the main eye for last it doesn't reveal itself as often as the hands' so you may have to deal with two True Eyes for a fairly long time until you get the chance to damage it again.Īnyways, with all 3 eyes down Moon Lord reveals his Core and Phase 2 begins, and that's also where a boss battle that is honestly fairly clever designed goes downhill by getting the stupidest, most unfair attack of anything in the entire game. This isn't too easy to do with a Dragon that engages everything that breathes with a DPS of 3k, but it's not hard either. To get a smooth transition to Phase 2 try to get all eyes to very low health, and then pop them out all at once. It's fairly weak though, just think of it as mild chip damage you'll take from time to time.Īnd that's pretty much it for Phase 1. This is kinda tricky to dodge because it tries to predict your position, but you can mess up its aim by dashing at the right time. Phantasmal Bolts where it thinks you'll be. Right before any eye (including the center one) closes it will start to look at you, and then fire a pair of You always want to keep Moon Lord at least partly on screen so you can check on the main eye from time to time. This is the main reason you must never kite Moon Lord phase one, otherwise you won't be able to see it coming until it's too late. Not even Vallhalla Knight Chestplate can save you if you take 300 damage all at once. However, if this gets you, then game over. This attack is very easy to dodge, all you have to do is go around his head. Then we get to ML's trademark attack, the Phantasmal Deathray. This attack forces you to stay on the move at all times. These little eyes are persistent and very good at chasing you, but they can't actually fly up, so getting above a wave will completely neutralize it, until another one spawns that is. The little eyes may deal little damage (yes, 120 is "little" at this point in the game), but there will always be a ton of them at all times Stop moving for even a second and 3-4 eyes will pile up on you and take out over 1/4th of your health. Never underestimate this attack, it's the second most dangerous he has.
Within six months of their married life, the couple added a new family member and welcomed their child, a son named Titan Jewell Witherspoon on 4 November 2014. In their ceremony, celebrities like Beyonce and Destiny's Child band member Michelle Willams attended and congratulated the newly-wed couple. Reportedly their Costa Rica wedding was quick and straightforward with just around 30 people attending the ceremony. Kelly wore a long white veil wedding gown whereas Tim wore an all-white suit. Their wedding vows took place on a small cliffside deck in Costa Rica. Tim Witherspoon and former Destiny's Child bandmember, Kelly Rowland tied the knot secretly on. Wedding Vows With Destiny's Child Band Member Has Son Of Age Three His wife also had a successful solo career and gathered big bucks as an American singer, and actress. However, Tim, who worked as his wife Kelly Rowland's talent manager from the early years of the girl group, Destiny's Child, likely received lucrative fortunes. Their average salary is $123,036, and the 50% of people are expected to make less than the average wage of Talent Manager in the United States. According to, the one who performs the job of Talent Manager in the United States is expected to gather payrolls worth between $105,475-$143,622. Tim Witherspoon has accumulated the net worth of $5 million from his stint as an American talent manager. He is mostly known as the manager of Kelly with whom he shared wedding vows. He came into limelight after he commenced a relationship with the Destiny's Child bandmember, Kelly Rowland. Tim Witherspoon is an American talent manager. The problem starts with his conception of Randall, a nerdy family man who naively believes that simply by warning people, those in charge will spring into action. McKay’s screenplay is powered by a grimly funny idea: if it seems ridiculous that no one believes Randall and Kate, well, why do so many dispute the existence of the coronavirus or climate change? As a parable, Don’t Look Up could be chilling and hilarious, but what dooms the film is McKay’s tendency to go after easy targets rather than really exploring the implications of his premise. There, too, Randall and Kate are only met with skepticism and suspicion, partly because these scientists are socially awkward and, therefore, don’t come across well on television. But on meeting US President Orlean (Streep), they’re shocked when she dismisses them as being hysterical, which prompts them to go to the press. And liberal audiences may enjoy a comedy that flatters their worldview while condemning conservative politicians and anti-intellectualism. But too often, Don’t Look Up congratulates itself - and the audience - for feeling superior to the film’s villainsĭiCaprio plays Randall, an astronomer who, along with grad student Kate (Lawrence), discovers a comet heading directly towards our planet that will trigger a global extinction event - and we only have six months to avoid catastrophe. Those onboard for McKay’s The Big Short and Vice will be intrigued by this angry assault on the dumbing-down of the population by the media and a myopic ruling class. Opening on December 10 in the US before arriving on Netflix two weeks later, the film’s starry cast includes Leonardo DiCaprio, Jennifer Lawrence, Timothee Chalamet, Cate Blanchett and Meryl Streep. But a smug, self-satisfied approach proves insufficient at addressing the legitimate woes at core of this picture.īest of all is Timothee Chalamet, who plays a stoned skateboarder, his every utterance delightfully off-kilter. Clearly a commentary on global warming, which folds neatly into a treatise on our ongoing Covid-19 crisis, Don’t Look Up takes aim at plenty of ills - especially the scourge of science-deniers. They know they won’t survive for much longer and decide to just enjoy each other’s company.ĭon’t Look Up is one of the biggest Netflix movies of 2021.What if scientists knew the world was ending and humanity did nothing to prevent it? Don’t Look Up turns that frightening premise into a toothless satire, following a collection of characters who are faced with the imminent impact of a comet that will destroy all life on Earth - but rather than the typical disaster film in which the best and brightest work together to avert calamity, Adam McKay’s dark comedy suggests that we’ll continue to be our self-absorbed, uninformed selves. They do have a kind of beautiful relationship, however, all things considered. But of course, it’s the end of the world, so this pairing doesn’t mean much in the long run. In need of a distraction, Kate accepts the invitation and starts seeing Yule romantically. While working as a cashier at a grocery store, she meets Yule (Chalamet), who invites her to hang out with him and his friends. She’s understandably discouraged and has basically given up all hope. In Don’t Look Up, Lawrence’s character Kate heads back to her hometown in Michigan after her plan to save the planet with Dr. So there you have it - they’re five years apart. 27, meaning he’s just days away from turning 26 years old. At the time of this writing, Lawrence is 31 years old and Chalamet is 25 years old. Jennifer Lawrence and Timothée Chalamet agesĪlthough Lawrence is an established actress who scored her first Academy Award nomination in 2010 and Chalamet looks on the younger side, their age gap isn’t drastic at all. Some fans are now shipping the two actors despite the fact that Lawrence is married (remember when she gushed over Chalamet being “so hot” in a 2019 interview?), while many are simply questioning their age gap. But one major distraction about Don’t Look Up comes in the second half, when Lawrence and Chalamet’s characters strike up a romance. With a movie this full of big-name stars, the cast can be a little distracting. Even popular musicians Ariana Grande and Kid Cudi have brief appearances, as well as familiar faces Tyler Perry, Melanie Lynskey, Ron Perlman and more. Included in the cast of Don’t Look Up is Leonardo DiCaprio, Jennifer Lawrence, Jonah Hill, Meryl Streep, Cate Blanchett and Timothée Chalamet - all Academy Award winners or nominees. I couldn’t make up a bigger group of A-listers if I tried! Not only is the story good (and incredibly frustrating at times), but the cast is also absolutely star-studded. The satirical film which serves an an allegory for the environmental crisis just hit Netflix in the early hours this morning, and is definitely a must-watch. Just in time for the holiday season is the reminder that climate change is real with Adam McKay’s new movie Don’t Look Up.
